  7. The horses of Diomedes are man eating horses. Than there is the apples of Hesperides are from Zeus that Hera gave him. Though Hera did not want heracules to get them. He had to prove himself so he knows that he did not kill his family but Hera curse to do it.

  8. Heracles isn't scared at all and raises an army of his own.
Our hero leads the charge, obliterating the Minyans and killing the King Erginus himself.
King Creon of Thebes is more than a little grateful to Heracles, so he gives Heracles his daughter, Megara, as a bride.
Every thing is happy for a while, and Heracles and Megara have a bunch of kids.
Eventually though, Heracles' archenemy Hera, Queen of the Gods, steps in to ruin his life. (Hera hates Heracles because he's the illegitimate son of her husband, Zeus.)
The Queen of the Gods gets seriously nasty and causes Heracles to go crazy and kill all of his children (Whoa.)
Needless to say, Heracles feels more than a little guilty about killing his kids and all.

  9. "The goddess Hera, determined to make trouble for Hercules, made him lose his mind. In a confused and angry state, he killed his own wife and children.

When he awakened from his "temporary insanity," Hercules was shocked and upset by what he'd done. He prayed to the god Apollo for guidance, and the god's oracle told him he would have to serve Eurystheus, the king of Tiryns and Mycenae, for twelve years, in punishment for the murders.

As part of his sentence, Hercules had to perform twelve Labors, feats so difficult that they seemed impossible. Fortunately, Hercules had the help of Hermes and Athena, sympathetic deities who showed up when he really needed help. By the end of these Labors, Hercules was, without a doubt, Greece's greatest hero.

His struggles made Hercules the perfect embodiment of an idea the Greeks called pathos, the experience of virtuous struggle and suffering which would lead to fame and, in Hercules' case, immortality."

  21. King Eurystheus decided Hercules first task would be to bring him the skin of an invulnerable lion which terrorized the hills around Nemea. Minos himself in order to prove his claim to the throne, had promised the sea-god Poseidon that he would sacrifice whatever the god sent him from the sea. But Minos didn't listen because he thought that the bull was to beautiful to kill, so he killed another bull instead. Poseidon furious at Minos sends the bull in rampage through Crete, and that causes Minos' wife to fall in love with it and there for gives birth to a Minotaur. And for why Hercules undertook the twelve labors is because, Hera determined to make trouble for Hercules, made him lose his mind and caused him to kill his wife and children.
