I think she is saying that if we don't do something about the gun laws, more people can get hurt or killed.she does not want anyone to struggle how she is struggling right now. The story is using pathos , logos, and ethos.(Jessica and Karissa).
ReplyDeleteThe things she says about what happened in Arizona makes her a good voice for helping with the control of guns for people with mental illnesses. She is using pathos because she has sympathy and shows it for the things that have happened due to gun violence

The message she is giving us is that she is practically saying that we have not even felt fear yet unless we were in the positions of the victims that were in " The Sandy Hook Elementry School " . Her past expirences make her a good voice . She is using ethos and pathos because she is using emotions in her writing and she is appealing based on herself .

ReplyDeleteShe thinks it is very bad and that lots of accidents happen with guns and that you can go anywhere and gets guns. That guns should not be sold everywhere. Yes she sets an example and even though she got shot she is still fighting for it. I think it shows pathos and logos.

My opinion is that giffords stance is amazing. Her experience are good because if they were poor people problem would not listin to her. The message of the artical is to stand up help know the actually truth nd what is going on. The author uses pathos to show that she trying to persuading people to help her and logos she give facts

My opinion on this article is that more people should watch out for who there selling guns to, and do background check and not let people who have illnesses or mental problems have them. The message she's sending is that not everybody should be aloud to have guns and standards should be very high if you are trying to buy a gun. Her experience is what supports her in her gun argument and helps her argument. In this article she is using ethos.

ReplyDeleteI believe that that guns should be allowed in. Laws should be enforced more strictly when purchases are being made. I think there will be less murders because the ring people won't be able to get there hands on a weapon so easily.

I thin she's right the laws should be enforced more and they should have to go through mental tests and background checks before being able to purchase weapons. That guns are ok it's just bigger laws should be inforced.

People and children are being killed everywhere because of the bad usage of guns. She's giving the message of its okay to have a gun for self protection but never give a bad usage to it. She is giving a message that criminals that have bin caught with a gun. Also she has a good experience with gun control because she was shot at point blank.

The message that she is giving is we should all have the right to have guns but only a certain amount and only be able to buy them in certain places. She is a logos because its a proven fact the people will get hurt for the wrong reasons
