Romeo's Character
Romeo is given a reprieve and rather than executed he is exiled. He is directly responsible for Tybalt's death and by law should be killed. What is his reaction when he learns of his punishment? What is your opinion of how he acts? Should he be grateful? Does he have the right to be so upset? Is this a man who is simply in love with his wife, or is this the behavior of an immature individual? Use evidence from text to support your opinion.

Romeo feels bad afterwords , he realizes what he did was bad . " FRIAR:

1)Romeo should be grateful that his life was spared. 2) Yet he has the right to be upset not seeing Juliet. 3) yes he should be grateful because he was supposed to put to death but instead he was banished.4)yes he could be upset because he will not see his Juliet.

He was complaining,he said it wasn't mercy it was torture because he couldn't see juliet,I think he should be grateful since he's not dead,I don't think he has the right to be upset since everything happened off his own actions,I think he's the guy that loves his wifeThou canst not speak of that thou dost not feel.(65)

In my opinion Romeo was surprised when he found out he was vanished from verona. Italy. He was cry like a baby when he was told and he should be greatful that he didn't die

DeleteRomeos reaction to finding out he's being exiled was sad and in denial and complaining about having to leave his Juliet and that he'd rather die.
ReplyDeleteWhen he complained about being exiled it was selfish because he should have been killed, but it was him being heartbroken because he had to leave Juliet after being married only an hour.
He does have a right to be upset because he had to leave his family and his wife behind.
His behavior was not childish he was upset and scared and shocked and he just did not want to leave Juliet.

His reaction is that he does not want leave Juliet and verona and complaing.my opinion is that Romeo acted brave and a little foolish. Yes he should be grateful because the prince let him live instead of killing Romeo. He should be worried and upset at himself for killing tybalt. Romeo is acting immature because he does not have to kill tybalt. "The fight shall determine that act 3 scene 3"

He was mad because he was going away from Juliet. 2 he is selfish even though they let him live. 3 he should be great full of what they did for him. 4 No he does not have the right to be upset because wether or not he has control of his own Actions. 5. Romeo killing Tybalt has nothing to do with his love of Juliet what he did was. Because of his huge anger and at the time was not thinking of Juliet "O,I am fool for the goddess of luck " he shows not care of Juliet only himself and left instead of paying for what he did .

He says that he rather die because they told Romeo that he couldn't come back to his town because he killed Tybalt. And he wants to die for he can see Juliet. And worlds exile is death rather get an gold axe and chop off my head....
