Rescue Swimmer

Research rescue swimmer. What does it take to become a rescue swimmer? What responsibilities does a rescue swimmer have? Would you ever be a rescue swimmer? Respond to two classmates.

  2. To become a rescue swimmer you have to have flexibly, strength,endurance in the water for 30 mins. The responsibility for a rescue swimmer is to get the victim out of the water before a tragedy happens. I would not like to be in rescue swimmer because it a dangers job.

    There responsibilities is to save lives and rescue people that are stuck in the ocean
    I would not come one because that job sounds boring

  5. Rescue swimmers also must have the skills to provide basic pre-hospital life support for rescued individuals. And as part of their training, candidates must complete an emergency medical training (EMT) course.

  6. To become a coastguard rescue swimmer you can volunteer at the coastguard rescue service. To be accepted as a rescuer, you will need to have strong communication skills, be emotionally stable and resilient, and be able to deal with difficult conditions and situations.

    They have to know how to deal with pain.

  12. This is what you have to do for worm ups:
    1. Shoulder width push-ups-50
    2. Sit-ups - 60
    3. Pull-ups -5
    4. Chin-ups -5
    5. 500 yard crawl swim- complete within 12 min.
    6. 25 yard underwater swim- repeat 4 times
    7. Buddy tow- 200 yds (RS shall use cross-chest carry or equipment tow)

  14. Rescue swimmers must be very strong to be able to swim not only alone, but with another person and or a large amount of weight. I would not be one because I'm not a very good swimmer.

  15. 2 They have to practice a lot because they don't want to risk anyone dying so they do lots of work out they also have to know a lot about water because they need to swim for a long way and swim fast}

  20. Rescue swimming is when you help someone that is drowning all you got to do is
    Get a boty and you throw it in the the water then you people the person that is drowning on it and then you grab it and pull it to surface.
